Ruby
When I first saw Ruby she was hanging from a wall entangled in barbed wire. Her owner cut her down and put her in a grubby shed although she was covered in deep cuts and was bleeding a lot. I offered to nurse her until she was well – which I did. She required a lot of stitches. By the time she had healed, her previous owner was happy for me to keep her. I did re-home her but she bounced after 6 months and so she then stayed in Kim’s Home.
She is a Whippet cross and is about seven and a half now. She is an airhead and loves life so much. She’s very cuddly and gentle. She loves home comforts and is happy to no longer be a working dog. She has a coat of pure silk and is a joy to stroke. She runs like the wind and loves winding Bayleaf up.
