Ernie

Ernie is a terrier mix who came from a local pound.  He is totally deaf, has spinal problems, serious skin issues during the summer months and is very grumpy – with good reason.  He has settled well at Kim’s Home.  He particularly loves his walks.  Because of his poor condition it was assumed that he was an elderly dog. However, close examination of his teeth suggests that he is quite young.  He’s just had a really bad start in life.   He will stay here because his volatile temperament makes him difficult to re-home.   He’s pretty happy about that – he says the food is good and the walks are great.  And he gets on fine with all the other dogs.
